鳥川ホタルの里にはあちこちに湧水があり、「鳥川ホタルの里湧水群」として環境省の平成の名水百選に選定されています。昨年度行われた名水百選の人気投票では「秘境の地の名水」として全国第一位に選ばれました！
There are springs scattered throughout Torigawa Firefly Village, selected as one of the Ministry of the Environment’s Heisei-era 100 Famous Waters of Japan. It was ranked No. 1 nationwide as famous water in a hidden, remote place!
延命水が有名で平成の名水百選です。写真は延命水から500mほど離れた産湯の滝。
The Enmei-sui spring is famous and is one of the Heisei 100 Famous Waters of Japan. The photo shows Ubuyu Falls, located about 500m from Enmei-sui.

Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture
1 hour 29 min (79.0 km) “New Tomei Expressway/Daini Tokai Expressway.
It takes about 12 minutes (7.6 km) by car from the Okazaki Higashi IC of the New Tomei Expressway to the Okazaki City Firefly School.

行った6月は蛍が飛んでおり、ホタル学校へも行きました(画像なし）。
In June when we visited, fireflies were flying, and we also visited the Firefly School (no photo).
丁度、現地の人がおり、ホタルと湧水を6月20日にNHKで放映するとのことでした。
A local resident happened to be there, and told us a program about the fireflies and spring water would be broadcast on NHK on June 20.

水は軟水でおいしかったです。この水でコーヒー飲みました。
The water was soft and delicious. We made coffee with this water.
アジサイの里へも行ってきました。
We also visited the Hydrangea Village.
岡崎にはがん封じのお寺もあります。
Okazaki also has a temple known for warding off cancer.
