About Togokusan Fruit Park
Togokusan Fruit Park is at the northeastern edge of Nagoya City, at the foot of Mt. Togoku (198.3 m). It sits in a natural setting with plenty of greenery, water, sunshine and fresh air.
The park opened in April 1980 as a multi-purpose agricultural park. It is a place to enjoy nature in the city through plant watching and walks, and it also promotes urban farming by teaching fruit-growing techniques.
The park has orchards with 17 kinds of fruit, including pears and apples, a “World Tropical Fruit Greenhouse” where you can see about 100 kinds of rare tropical and subtropical fruit trees, a “Fruit Pavilion” with information about fruit, a shop, a restaurant and a fishing pond. It is loved as a unique fruit-themed agricultural park.
