Today our family had a yakiniku (Japanese grilled meat) party at home.
The meat was Hida beef, a premium wagyu brand from Gifu Prefecture. As you can see, the slices are beautifully marbled with fine streaks of fat.
We grilled it on a smoke-free tabletop grill called “Yakimaru.” Because it gives off almost no smoke, the house does not end up smelling of grilled meat.
The beef was so soft that it melted in our mouths.
Just this made us very happy.
